Inclusion

Jesus does indeed save all people but there is the small matter of time that dictates in what order people will come in to the Kingdom of God. The Father of all spirits is intent on saving everyone, but His  will shall take the Ages to unfold completely until all have been subdued to Jesus Christ by His Gospel.
I do not preach that everyone is saved now. I know that Jesus died for all and technically all are saved from God’s vantage point outside of time, but in our order of things, not all are saved yet. Those who are not yet saved have not yet believed in Jesus for that is the only way to the Father according to Scripture.
Paul the Apostle, a converted Jew did not believe that everyone was already saved either. Of course what I believe has come through the Gospel given to Paul, so what does he say?
I am looking at Colossians chapter 1 today. Paul was writing to the saints and faithful brethren(believers) in Christ in Colosse and he says:

Col 1:13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
Col 1:14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

What I am wanting to point out from these verse are the pronouns he uses.
Delivered us; conveyed us; we have redemption.
This is wonderful news for the believer to meditate upon. But those who do not believe have all the opposite condition to think about.
The millions on this planet who do not believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour:

  • HAVE NOT BEEN delivered from the power of darkness yet
  • HAVE NOT BEEN conveyed out of the kingdom of darkness yet
  • HAVE NOT YET COME INTO the Kingdom of the Son of His love
  • HAVE NOT OBTAINED redemption
  • HAVE NOT yet obtained forgiveness of sins
  • ARE NOT YET in Him/Jesus

Paul was called to turn people from the power of Satan to God.

Act 26:18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

Those who preach Inclusion as if all are saved now are not in agreement with God. Look at Paul’s calling above.

  • Called to turn them from darkness to light
  • from the power of Satan to God
  • that they may receive forgiveness of sins
  • and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

We love all people knowing that all people shall one day be our brethren. But until they bow the knee to Jesus Christ and confess Him as LORD and GOD they remain enemies for the gospel’s sake. Again simply see the converse of Paul’s calling to see the true condition of people all around you.

  • People are living in darkness
  • People are under the power and control of Satan
  • People are still enemies of God not having received forgiveness
  • People shall not inherit the Kingdom of God
  • People are unholy/not sanctified because they do not believe

It was because of love in Paul’s heart that he risked his life to continually preach and teach Jesus and the resurrection. His heart’s desire was that all Israel be saved. He was continually full of sorrow and grief over the spiritual state of his countrymen who rejected Christ.
So today,  think about all those people you know who do not believe in Jesus Christ yet. Are you saying nothing to them about Jesus because one day they shall all be saved anyway? As I have looked around at the forums online that are populated by those who believe God shall save all people I have seen this common trait. Everyone seems to be consoling themselves that God is victorious and shall save all….YES!! ABSOLUTELY!! But He still uses the same methods to save all- love filled humans filled with His light and carrying a message of hope and forgiveness.
My friend the only way they shall be saved is if someone tells them the good news of Jesus death  and His resurrection for them.

Rom 10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
Rom 10:13 For “WHOEVER CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.”
Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO PREACH THE GOSPEL OF PEACE, WHO BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!”

It seems to me that there has been an overemphasis on God’s Cross transaction saving all and that Hell is not eternal or no Hell at all…and no emphasis on the need to evangelise people with this good news. Maybe I am preaching to myself…actually not maybe, I am preaching to myself!!
The Gospel is not “God will save all,” even though it has been good news to us who have laboured under the eternal punishment message for years. The Gospel is Jesus dying for our sins so we could receive forgiveness and rising for our justification and  resurrection. Through faith in Jesus we become sons and daughters of God and all our sins are washed clean away. Whatever Gospel He has given you may He direct your steps to those who will receive it today.
We used to be driven by  fear of Hell fire consuming all those who are lost. But that message is being removed from our hearts and Love without fear is replacing it. A heart without Jesus is already in torment no matter the outer appearance. Paul’s calling shows this very clearly. They are in darkness and have not yet tasted of the Kingdom of the son of His love. You are that light and that love as you go about your day amongst the children of darkness.
